As a frequent guest of the Royal Grand Hotel, I'm consistently impressed, but my recent 10-day stay truly stood out. I was responsible for organizing a major event hosting high-level dignitaries from across Africa, and once again, the Royal Grand delivered flawlessly. The hotel's quality accommodations are always a given, but the exceptional service is what keeps me returning. Bilal, in particular, is simply outstanding. He's arguably the best hotel manager I know on the continent. His proactive problem-solving and responsiveness during the intricate logistical planning of our event were invaluable. Any potential issue was immediately addressed with a practical solution, ensuring a comfortable stay for all our guests. He is certainly an asset that keeps bringing value to the Royal , and he keeps getting better and better. For anyone planning an event, or simply seeking a top-tier hotel experience in Liberia, the Royal Grand, and especially Bilal's leadership, are unmatched. It's consistently my first choice, and for good reason.

Did not stay at the hotel but ate at Cafe Royal twice. Brought the family here for breakfast twice during our family trip to Monrovia. Were there during the breakfast/brunch time and you could either order from the menu or take advantage of the buffet. Our kids were a little tired of the traditional Liberian food we had been having for breakfast and were happy for the American style breakfast and options. The pancakes and omelets were good. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and there was plenty of seating for both small and larger groups. The service was a little slow on both times we were there but it did not bother us that much as we were on vacation. Overall it was a really good expereince and I would definitely recommend. We also picked up some coffee, donuts and juice drinks from the Donut Bar (also inside the hotel). Nice selection of options and the staff was very friendly.

Our group of 17 travelers decided to try the Royal Cafe with lunch buffet. Besides Lebanese dishes, the offerings included lemon chicken, Kafka au- four, kormer, fried rice,and more mains The delicious hummus must be house made and they had several salads. Desserts included a dry yellow cake, pancakes with pistachio cream. One of our group wanted an apple and reached for table decor that turned out to be plastic. OTIS brought us 2 apples. Great job! We informed the manager ALOYSIOUS and he seemed pleaseof Wheel chair access men's and women's restrooms both offer an accessible 5ft x5 ft space in central area. --The Donut Bar in the Royal Grand Hotel offers a sandwich bar with big sandwiches and a pastry and coffee section. I couldn't decide between all desserts and ended up with a decent chocolate cake. They also sell Selé Liberian chocolate bars in milk to various levels of dark chocolate. I bought a new version 99.9% which means essentially sugar free. Very strong and not sweet which is what I want. RAYMOND provided excellent friendly service with a smile. Note that prices are in USDollars. Seating available in standard tables and chairs menus are posted and legible. Pastries are marked by small signs. Wheel chair accessible restroom with 5 ft x 5 ft space in central area of shared with other venues

The hotel was pretty nice with welcoming staff. Had stayed for 5 nights. We had arrived the hotel pretty late at night and were allowed early check in and a late check out with Courtesy of Mr. Bilal the manager. Amazing service and seamless looking after by him which made our stay pretty comfortable despite of odd timings of our arrival and departure flights. Really enjoyed the stay with number of restaurants to hang out within the facility. Loved the multicultural aura of the place. Again will accredit it to Mr. Bilal to ensure a comfortable stay for myself & my friends and will for sure book it for my next visit in the coming month.

The service was exceptional and staff very professional. Bilal in particular went out of his way to ensure we had what we needed. He made extra accommodations for our team . The Royal Grand hotel is a good place to stay when in Monrovia for business.

I spent two weeks at the Royal Grand Hotel on a very intense business trip, where all meetings were held in their conference room. As such, we had breakfast, lunch and most dinners at the hotel. In a nutshell, the food and more importantly the service are outstanding! The Managing Director Wael Hariz has created an environment where everyone from the front desk to the waiters to the cleaning ladies offer service that parallels any Ritz Carlton. While they offer a hearty breakfast and lunch buffet, you need only ask chefs Ali or Mahmoud to prepare a special dish and they are happy to indulge. The espresso and macchiato rival any barista in the US. The roof top restaurant offers tasty Sushi and Vietnamese food accompanied by reasonably priced Spanish wine. The bedrooms are spacious with lots of natural light and the beds comfortable, though nothing to write home about. The guy to know is Bilal at the front desk. He’s the can do man. Ask him for a restaurant recommendation or a reliable pharmacy and he’ll give you the best advice. Overall, there might be nicer hotels with better views but hands down the best service in town.

After spending more than 2 months at RGH I can finally say Thank you Royal Grand for making my long stay easy and stress free. The staff is just amazing, attentive, welcoming, nice, respectful ,courteous, professional and well trained. It was my first visit to Liberia and Mr. Bilal helped and assisted me before my arrival. The organisation was just perfect, the airport transfer and car rental service was all done and handled by him. I felt very safe, very welcomed, and the staff were very helpful and kind. They take security very seriously. The room was net, clean and spacious. My special thank you goes to Mr Bilal, for making my trip easy and pleasant, whatever you will need to know or help you get around, be sure he will help to make your stay comfortable! I really felt Home here. RGH staff will be like your gracious family away from home, you will not regret at all.

Royal remains my preferred hotel to lodge in each time I am in Monrovia. The quality of service of all its staff remain exceptional and always grateful for the hospitality shown to me each time I visit. A top choice in Monrovia and recommend RGH to anyone traveling to Monrovia.

Raymond from the donut bar was an amazing host. Due to a miscalculation on my part, I ended up paying extra on my bill but he identified the error and made sure that the extra amount was returned back to me. Royal Grand overall has some of the most amazing staff! Very dedicated and always willing to help customers. It was my go to place in Liberia. The only short-coming of the place is that it can be quite expensive sometimes but they definitely make it worth the money you pay.
